We are a middle-aged couple who were dining out for our anniversary. First time at F.A.T.S. and had a great experience. Frank took our reservation on the phone and introduced himself. We were seated in an open, yet intimate feeling back room of the party center on a Friday night and quickly found ourselves enjoying the welcoming ambiance including lower lighting, player piano, and other families enjoying time with their friends and loved ones. We must have been there for around 3 hours in all (as were some others), but it felt like the perfect amount of time. I overheard one of the other patrons say something to the effect of "this is dining", and I couldn't agree more. Looked across the room to find Frank and his mother sitting down to a meal. Just a really enjoyable, down to earth yet elevated atmosphere. Great service from Elliot while we were there. He was knowledgeable and gave us good advice to help us make our choices. Food was great. Shrimp Diavolo is a must if you like seafood. Puttanesca tasted like homestyle with big chunks/medallions of a very good sausage and the most flavorful green olives I've ever had. Even salads that came with entrees were great. Super crisp and fresh greens.The big dinner portion sizes will have all but the hungriest guests taking some home to eat for lunch the next day. We had to try the mini cannoli's for dessert. They didn't disappoint. You won't be disappointed either. Thanks Frank!
FATS is fantastic! I have loved all my dinners there so far! So delicious, and professional! There is so much space in between tables, it feels very safe. The food is just as excellent as todaros food! Cant wait to go back!
My husband and I had dinner and everything was delicious. Frank the owner talked with us and it was really nice to see the owner communicate w the guest. Sherry our waitress was wonderful. I forgot the gentleman who helped us was great also. If your looking for a place that offers good food and service you must go.
This place is definitely old school and it’s a place where the who’s who of Akron hangs out at. It’s always a fun night at Fats!! The service is so great and they always make sure you have everything you need. The pork chop is to die for. It’s so succulent and cooked to perfection. I can’t say enough about this place. Frank the owner makes you feel like you’re a star. Keenan and Sherrie work the floor like pros. They are not servers. They are ambassadors. I’m so glad this place is around. I get happy just walking in. Btw, great liquor pour.

Amazing good..,,from aglio oilio to the pork chop, ravioli and fish. Atmosphere great, servers great… wonderful addition to the Akron food scene.
Visited FATS recently with some friends. I had the Chicken Piccata for dinner. It was a large portion and it was amazing! The atmosphere was fun and lively. Our server was attentive and efficient. Will definitely be visiting again!

Last night Frank Todaro served an awesome meal to twenty hungry men. The service was spot on. The atmosphere is very nice and above most restaurants. The steak he serve was one of the best I have had and the pasta was delicious. I would highly recommend Fats for a special night out. Thanks Frank! Ken B
The Service was impeccable, the atmosphere was also en pointe. And the cocktails were AMAZING! Karen is the cocktail Queen and our server Sherri was great! They alone are worth another trip there soon!
